Nonprofits to Go Beyond Grantmaking, to Integrate Impact Investing

Judith Rodin, the president of the Rockefeller Foundation, and Margot Brandenburg, fellow at the Nathan Cummings Foundation, co-authors of The Power of Impact Investing: Putting Markets to Work for Profit and Global Good, have written how foundations are willing to engage with impact investing.

The authors rattled off a number of options for foundations seeking to incorporate impact investing in their organizational values. The authors agree that foundations will be key to moving impact investing into the mainstream, both as actors and as advocates.
